Blanton Forestry, PLLC is owned and operated by Chris Blanton. He grew up in Kings Mountain, NC. Enjoying the outdoors, he pursued dual BS degrees in Fisheries and Wildlife Management and Forest Management. Graduating in 1998 he completed a wildlife internship in Maryland. Since then he has been involved in contract forestry services and consulting forestry. He is a Registered Consulting Forester in North Carolina and a Candidate member of the ACF.
Chris is married to 'Red' Blanton who has a Master of Forestry, and they have a son, Angus 'Gus' Blanton.
Outside of work Chris is active with the North Carolina Baptist Men as the Region 7 Disaster Relief Coordinator. He also enjoys hiking, fishing, and target shooting.
